Expression oquaporins in the eye during physiological and pathological conditions Consequences of hyperosmolar and hyperglycaemic stresses on retinal pigmented epithelial cells

The distribution, regulation of expression, and functions of aquaporins are investigated in liver and adipose tissue. Particular attention is paid to aquaglyceroporins involved in glycerol metabolism.
