Consequences of hyperosmolar and hyperglycaemic stresses
in retinal pigmented epithelial cells
During the course of certain pathological conditions, the retina can be exposed to hyperosmolar (HOS) and hyperglycaemic (HG) stresses. The consequences of such exposure to stresses are being investigated on retinal pigmented epithelial cells.
